Smart Factory
A “smart” factory is a production system of a new industrial structure, the productivity of which is many times higher than the capabilities of existing production. All parts of the factory are extremely automated. This is a transforming enterprise, the production lines of which can be quickly updated and rebuilt. At the same time, all subsystems are controlled by an autonomous system thanks to the industrial Internet of things. The entire product life cycle (PLM management), including integration with logistics, service centers and receiving feedback, becomes the object of management.
Thus, a smart factory can independently optimize the performance of the entire supply chain, independently adapt to and learn from new conditions in real or near real time, and autonomously run all production processes.
