Online monitoring of engine operating parameters
A modern engine contains more than a hundred sensors that constantly monitor its condition. Huge amounts of data are used directly in engine control systems and can be transferred in real time to data centers for detailed analysis. The processed information makes it possible to determine critically important parameters of the power plant, such as residual life, deviations of parameters from nominal values, and abnormal operation of systems. The use of this data not only improves the operational safety of existing devices, but also provides design engineers with information to improve and modernize existing engines, as well as to develop new ones.
