Multi-parameter optimization
The introduction of modern additive manufacturing technologies opens up new opportunities and approaches to optimizing the geometric shape of a part (bionic design). Topology optimization is the process of changing the design, structure of a part and its varying parameters while maintaining or improving its functionality. Using this method, it is possible to obtain new, more efficient geometric shapes of structures under given parameters and imposed restrictions. Holes or voids in a structure can appear, disappear, or merge, and the boundaries of an object can take on arbitrary shapes. Optimal distribution of material in a given limited space allows you to significantly reduce the weight of parts.
