Gas turbine electric generator SGTG-8
SGTG-8 is a marine dual-fuel gas turbine electric generator with an electrical power of 8 MW, designed for power supply to ships and offshore platforms.
E70/8RD is a marine twin-shaft dual-fuel gas turbine engine for use in power plants and assemblies of ships, as well as for driving electric generators and gas compressors in marine and coastal industrial facilities of low and medium power.
The E70/8RD marine gas turbine engine and the SGTG-8 gas turbine-electric generator were created by order of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
