Gas turbine unit PD-14GP-1/-2
PD-14GP-1/-2 is being created on the basis of the PD-14 aircraft engine for the latest domestic mainline aircraft MS-21-310.
Designed to drive compressors for compressing natural gas in gas pipelines, generating electricity in geared and gearless versions, liquefying natural gas, and transporting crude oil.
The latest development of Perm engine builders is designed to reduce fuel gas consumption by 6–10% compared to analogues of their own design (GTU-12P and GTU-16P) while fully complying with the requirements of Russian and international standards for the emission of harmful substances through the use of “dry” low-emission camera.
The low-emission combustion chamber ensures that the content of nitrogen oxides NOx in the exhaust gases is no more than 50 mg/m3, and the content of carbon monoxide CO is no more than 100 mg/m3 in operating modes.
